These are the worst crafted plates in the pfaltzgraff line. Look nice when new. I have had them for a year and almost half are chipped. They chip without any improper handling, I am a 34 year old and am not rough on my dishes or mugs. A waste of money. THUMBS DOWN

My whole family loves these dishes. I have received tons of compliments on them! The mugs are a great size for hot drinks. They arrived well packaged. I read that there is some concern about them getting really hot in the microwave – but I have yet to have any difficulties. What a great purchase!

I totally agree with a previous reviewer. I love how these look, but they DO chip REALLY, REALLY easily. I’ve only had these for about 6 months…almost every piece that we use regularly has ended up with a chip somehow. Albeit, little ones, but there are multiple chips on some pieces. And I too am not sure where they come from…they just “appear.”
This is disappointing.

They chip REALLY REALLY easily. I’m VERY careful with handling my dishes–I don’t put them in the microwave so as not to make them brittle or whatever. I wash them in the dishwasher, so I’m not chipping them in the sink. I don’t get it.
