This item was interesting to assemble but nice to look at. It arrived with a broken base piece which was quickly replaced. We had two vines on it. During the first serious weather, the unit collasped with many bent tubes and cracked tubes. I put it up again and taped all of the joints to give it strength. Hours later, it again collapsed over a nearby fruit tree. After the third collapse, I gave up; I like my fruit tree. The material that it is made of is junk; bending I can understand but I can’t understand cracked tubes! I strongly suggest that you don’t purchase it if you have any serious weather!

The trellis was fairly easy to assemble, but because of its height I needed some help. I put the trellis together but needed to secure it with tape at some of the fitting so I could move it all as one peice to garden area. It was not as sturdy as I had hoped. Some of the fitting were not secured with screws so I used clear tape at these locations to reinforce it. It did NOT come with detailed directions, only a drawing of pieces and general layout. The top-knot was very difficult to put on, after several attempts to fasten it to the top, I just gave up and did not put it on. I have climbing roses and a moring glory vine growing on it, I hope it will support them. I must say however, it did add a decrotive spot to my garden. The price was very resonable and overall I would say I am happy with the product. My only concern is if it will withstand the vines and not blow over in a strong wind. One other thing, it did not come with any stakes to anchor it into the ground.

I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT TODAY ,,,, FIRST OFF , IT IS NOT THE DIMENSIONS SPECIFIED IN THE DESCRIPTION. IT IS APPROX. 90 INCHES TALL , BUT ONLY 62 INCHES IN WIDTH AT THE WIDEST PART, NOT 70 INCHES AS SPECIFIED. IT COMES WITH JUST A PICTORIAL SHEET , NO INSTRUCTIONS PER SAY. THERE ARE SCREWS THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY GO AFTER ASSEMBLY. THE TUBES DON’T ALL FIT AS YOU PUT IT TOGETHER, SO YOU HAVE TO TRY ALL THE SECTIONS TO SEE WHICH ONES FIT PROPERLY. THE DECORATIVE SWIRLS ON THE PRODUCT ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE TUBES VERY WELL , 3 WERE BROKE , OR NOT ATTACHED TO THE MAIN FRAME. THAT, CAN BE FIXED , BUT THEY ARE NOT WELDED VERY WELL TO THE FRAME. IT IS OVERALL NOT VERY STABLE, BUT CAN BE SECURED WITH GROUND STAKES , THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUPPLIED. IT LOOKS OK , BUT I HAVE DOUBTS IT WILL STAND UP TO CLIMBING VINES AS THEY GROW. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PRODUCTS UNDER ,”YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR”
